I have known a few throughout the years, they are all morally bankrupt. I knew one 20 years ago that financed his business through drug dealing. When his business went bad, he joined his father in-laws business and is now waiting for him to croak. He has a house and a wife with two kids. You would never guess that he was a drug dealer.

Recently, a friend took in a GF to live with him. I knew she was trouble the minute I laid eyes on her. She uses people and I knew it right away. After about a year, her drug habits became known, and there was money missing from the condo and business. My friend kicked her out and changed the locks. A few weeks later a guy shows up at the condo trying to open the door with the old keys. My friend confronted him with a neighbor and the story was that he was there to collect her things. That story did not wash, so they roughed him up. The guy tells the truth that the former GF gave him to keys to rob the place because she owed him drug money. They tossed the intruder out.

My speculation is that when she was not able to barter for drugs anymore, she had to come up with this robbery scheme to pay off debt or get more drugs. My question is, once hooked by one of these sociopaths what can they make the addicted clientele do? Any drug dealer stories?

I grew up in a small town. Mayberry like. There was a bit of weed but nothing hard. You heard stories about it in the bigger cities but it was very alien to small town life. Not anymore. That was a little over a quarter century ago.

When i was home at Christmas my sister and i drove around the old neighborhood...and she showed me where all the drug houses are....the ones that they have busted ...and the ones they have not. They are open secrets....one was about 500 metres from my old elementary school.I'm not naive about the world but it really does make you sick.High unemployment rates in these small towns just makes them ripe for exploitation.

I was trying to be diplomatic in my first post. The guy I know that dealt drugs over 20 years ago told me all sorts of stories of what he could make girls in need do. He told me stories where the girls would beg him for credit on the drugs, but he has a no credit policy. He would only bend these rules and give credit if they offer him their services. The debt for the drug was still there until it is payed off, the vig would be sexual favors. If the debt was not paid off the vig had to be paid every day. He told the girls that he was doing them a favor by teaching them never to buy drugs on credit because it would cost them big.

On the second girl that use to live with my friend, I am sure that long before she gave up keys to the condo she put out ass to get drugs.

I know a few small time dealers through my years working security and renovations. Most are just like anyone else, just trying to get by but there was or two of them that fully embraced the lifestyle and are real scumbags. Known a few women the same way but only one was anywhere near as bad or worse than her male counterparts.

It is a high risk - high return business and many have gone on to fund legit businesses and succeeded. It is certainly no more morally bankrupt than arms dealing , liquor sales or selling high fat junk food. Of course, there are nice guys and assholes in every field and some of the Mexican druglords are examples of extreme moral corruption and cruelty for greed and power. On the other hand, some "legit" business people are pretty ruthless too.

Any drug dealer stories?
Had a neighbour who dealt drugs. He was honest, discrete, and never caused trouble. One of the best neighbours I ever had, really. Sorry the story couldn't be more unsavoury for ya. If it helps, my brother lives in a seedy neighbourhood with some dealers that I wouldn't trust far as I could spit a buick.

I'm sure many people have known dealers, at least the type that sells only to friends and acquaintances. I have also known several full time dealers. A couple were nice guys, a couple weren't.

anyone who makes money off someone else's addiction or exploits that addiction, just to make money is a scumbag, and a lowlife. nuff said, because scumbags never think they are scumbags.
