i dont really feel comfortable posting her picture here LOL

were going to high park, I havent been there for a long time. would it be weird for me to bring one of those nikon/canon cameras and take pics? I mean if I went by myself, with my family, friends, anyone else, it would be completely cool. its just that Im having thoughts about taking pics on a first date?

Never post her pic online or to anyone in private either.

The camera can be fun if she likes having her photo taken. I dated a Chinese student years ago, took her to the usual tourist spots, she had a camera similar to mine so it was fine. if it is not too big, you could take it with you and see how she reacts. If she likes it, great! if not, put the camera away and find other things she likes to do.

And don't keep calling it a first date, that puts pressure on yourself. You already know her, you are just getting to know her a little better now.

I have my first date with a really pretty chinese international student this sat.

Her spoken english isnt that great, but I can speak mandarin pretty well

I approached her a month ago in the library and got her number. Texted her last week after exams finished and she agreed to go to out with me (high park)

Were both the same age, in the same school, and from wealthy families

Be cool, calm and confident.

A camera? How fucking creepy is that? If the date goes well, towards the end ask her if you can take a snapshot of the two of you together, on your iPhone. If you bring a real camera to this thing, that is just fucking creepy.

thats what I was thinking for any other date, but were going to check out high park. i havent been there in forever and would actually really like some photos of it.

its not like were going to dinner and im just going to be filming her the whole time. im sure you know high park is a tourist place, wouldnt it be natural to bring a camera?

my intent isnt to take photos of us together, I agree that would be creepy as hell on a first date, more of the cherry blossom (which will probably be gone T_T) and the other scenery
