At least the thugs took it outside of the mall where there was less chance of an innocent bystander being killed. I'm at Yorkdale a lot and feel very safe when I go. Mind you I'm rarely there on a Friday or Saturday night.

Sure you did. When I first moved to the city about 15 years ago I was just starting out my career, living in a bachelor apt in a low rent area for the first few months while looking for work.

Two shootings in my area that summer, one on my street. Both black on black.

What has changed is back then it wasn't considered front page news unless there was an innocent bystander injured. Now we feel sorry even when the dead are parasites.
