Another shooting outside Yorkdale Mall

Holy shit I just came back form eaton centre. This morning I flipped s coin if I should go to eaton or yorkdale.
When I saw the title, I thought this was a thread from 2 years ago but now realize it is actually real time.
Just read a tweet indicating the victim is possibly a 16-year-old boy who was trying to protect his girlfriend.
TV news had a quick image of the woman being wheeled into hospital. From her bare foot she looked like she was white. So much for the black-on-black thug initial theory.
The guy who was shot in the head is still on the asphalt, and the wounded woman was found some distance away.

Police said that two "groups" (e.g. gangs) of people had a confrontation inside the mall and settled their differences outside the mall. No innocent bystanders hurt.
I'd be interested to know your definition of 'innocent'. Two groups of teens acting like tough guys and yelling isn't a crime. Unless the dead were also waving guns around, I wouldn't necessarily consider them criminals.
Let's put it this way . The shooter or shooters are criminals before they took even one shot . Why !!! Because they are packing which of course is against the law . I doubt very much that the shooters or shooter had a permit to carry . To top it off those guns or gun are probably not registered .
So teens are criminals if they are carrying a gun . Even before they decide to use it .
Were the victims packing is my question. Obviously someone was as of know we don't know if the victims were or if it was just the other group.

As Rockslinger noted, the police updated the information and changed their report that the second injured person was a male, not a female as was originally reported.

Also, notice the entire body is covered. I wonder if the cops might be pretending this one is still alive in the hopes the shooter thinks that the "survivor" can identify them and may as well surrender to police? Wild ass speculation on my part.
Yes, that was what I heard at the police media update last night (actually very early this morning) and reported on this forum. I assume "innocent bystander" means people like you and I.
Other than the "white foot" reference, thank goodness nobody has speculated on the ethnicity of the victims and the shooter(s).
