Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Grabs a senior as a human shield, luckily he still gets killed. I wonder if we're going to get the usual sob stories of how he was a good guy and nobody had any reason to kill him? Hiding behind an innocent senior citizen tells me volumes about his character. Nooo... a person's true character comes out when they're in distress. Their unconscious takes over which show what sort of dirt bag he was. There are many who'd put themselves in harms way without thinking twice in such situations because they've already thought long and hard about what they'd do in such situations. Sure many would act like this douche bag too but that only speaks of their true character.. not something to use as a scapegoat during distress. Remember your mind controls your brain and your brain in turn controls your body. What you do, think and how you live your life, turns into a habit eventually to the point where your brain does things automatically.

Three dudes shoot it up in an OLD FOLKS HOME at 11:30 at night. One coward instinctively uses an old lady as a shield. One dead, two ran away.

According to eye witness police reports he was there with a "friend" who bolted when the shooting started and he grabbed a senior who was in the lobby placing the senior between himself and the gun man. WTF was he doing in the lobby of a Seniors Home at 11:30 at night? Visiting a relative?

He probably saw his killer and bolted in there to try and escape and failed.

I don't know about you, but I'm not walking the streets of Toronto at night, nor do I have anyone gunning for me, so I will never run into a situation where this is going to happen to me. Would I hid behind someone else, not a chance. I was raised to respect the law, respect my elders and always do the right thing even if it hurts.

So drugs and guns are how to be a man in the real world according to you? I don't go around trying to impress people by flashing a gun or being a thug. I do it by being a stand up guy, helping my friends when there down, putting my money and my reputation on the line when it counts.

How many of these up standing members of the community could post bail for a friend or family member if needed? I know I can and have done so. I'm example of how to live right to my god daughter because I never abandoned my best friend when she needed me the most.
