How do we know if agencies get their girls tested on a regular basis?
reason I ask this is because, I have had the unfortunate indication from several sp's that when they were hired - the agency never checked.
And it's funny. How can you check? well, when you get an HIV test, you can actually ask for a confirmation or copy of your results.
Ok, here's the deal. Its against the law in Ontario to not disclose HIV status if positive to a sexual partner. ANd, you cannot play innocent either - the latest adjustments to that piece of legislature does not allow it.
----How std health safety is dealt with in T.O----
Toronto Public Health (TPH) for example, will contact all those that may have come in contact with an STD case - anonymously to alert them to get checked. So, if someone was pos for gonnorhea or chlamydia,
TPH will go ahead and call those that came in contact with that person and say - "someone you were in contact with was pos for .... " "please get tested..."
Ok, so how do the agencies that we pay $250+ maintain the safety of their cleints? Do they call all those that were in contact with an SP and let them know to get tested??
I feel they should do that. STD's happen. its the nature of the business...(but hopefully not frequently) Nonetheless, if an sp got something - all the people she was in contact with SHOULD be informed and get checked!
Perhaps agencies feel like they may lose business this way by scaring their clients...
WHat do you all think?
Doesn't it make more sense to know and get checked and continue hobbying with some peace of mind?
I suppose there are several things being addressed in this post. So here's to clarify.
1) How are agencies taking precautions?
2) How are hobbyists being informed when there's a situation?
3) Do people know about the newest ajustments to HIV disclosure legislature in Ontario?
4) Can we hobby in peace and safety?
5) has a hobbyist on this forum EVER gotten a call from an Agency about unfortunate sti contact?
6) and finally, no one in the history of TERB has ever gotten an sti or ever been called about an sti contact ..right? cause this is the most safe kind sex you can get there...
seriously...
Ultimately, HIV is the worst of the worst but contact with other sti's should NOT go uninformed
How can we make this happen?
And how long will it take for this post to come down?? cause its good discussion...
