Anyone know what zoobot did to get banned?Yes, but I think it has been good for people to voice their concerns. It is clear that many have had issues with where TERB is going lately For me, losing focus on being a review site is the primary issue. It seems some people measure their worth by post counts, or feel superior due to the colour of their handle and treat this as their personal sandbox.
The real contributors to the site are the reviewers - not just writing reviews, but answering questions of others. SPs are not interested in paying money to advertise to those who crowd the lounge with 29K posts and don't see a single SP. Therefore attracting and keeping members who actually hobby should be the primary goal of this website.
I have tried to keep my Review:Lounge ratio as high as possible - over the years I have done more than my share of TOFTT almost exclusively from Backpage. I have even promoted TERB to new BP girls (no, not as a carrot for better service). Lately I am less motivated to post reviews because of the shill accusations, and I find it tiresome to have to defend my opinions on SPs against the "beware of BP" crowd. I find myself logging onto the blue board more often now - perhaps I'm not the only one.
Hopefully the powers-that-be will take note and consider the suggestions for improvement that people have put forward. In particular, the suggestion of a "reputation" score would help to identify quality versus quantity of contributions.
A separate forum for gay/transgender/etc.. is not a bad thing because clearly a number of the ladies have enjoyed toughb's pics. For the record, my issue with toughb is not the naked dude pics, it is the pic posting frequency (male and female) and vague titles that I consider to be spamming.
Anyway, enough rambling, I am going to get back to what matters and write a review today.
