There could be many different factors involved as to why some service providers won't see men of other ethnicities other than caucasian. I wouldn't take it personally. There are several reputable SPs on this board who see all men regardless of race. I agree with Heather 100% in that it's all about respect. Consider where you're looking - Backpages is the digital equivalent of an ad in The Toronto Sun, or the properties on a Monopoly board between "Go" and "Jail". When you bargain hunt at the flea market, you rub shoulders with those who have lice.

The reasons why girls sometimes "blacklist" Afro-Canadians can be anything from not being attracted physically to them to previous bad experiences with Black men. I have known several ladies who refuse to see black guys. One of them even told me that she had had a few good experiences with respectful, sophisticated black men, but that she had had other experiences where the guys were "ghetto" and she got scared and insulted.

It's a shame that generalizations occur. OTOH, the girls perform a pretty intimate service and it's essential that they feel comfortable about who they see.

It may not be the form of discrimination you think. Some girls have ties, personal or otherwise to certain communities and don't want to be recognized.
