Cuba or Costa Rica for a first timer? What do you recommend?

I've never had a sex vacation, I don't speak any Spanish at all, and I have no idea where to start. With that said, as a first timer, what do you recommend, Cuba or Costa Rica?

How do the quality of women compare between these 2 countries?
Which country is safer?
Which country has better food?
Which place is cheaper?
Which country is it easier to pick up women?
Should I go myself or with others?

It all seems a little overwhelming but I feel like I'm missing out on a lot, so I'd like to start having some fun. Your recommendations and advice is greatly appreciated.

I would suggest starting in Sosua in the Dominican Republic or San Jose in Costa Rica. These two places would be monger 101.

Costa Rica and Sosua has ex-pats and many other mongers there who can guide you and give you some tips. In Cuba, I was pretty well on my own.

Safe, better food and legal in Costa Rica, the trip may cost a bit more and perhaps the ladies. Cuba: Safe, illegal, food is bland but the mongering is cheap.
I haven't done this yet but I hope to some day!

Haven't been to Costa Rica yet, but it is on my radar. Are the prices for the ladies that much cheaper than Cuba? My guess is that it depends on which city/town. Havana is not as cheap as you may think. Cheaper in Camaguey, Holguin, and other places.

Taking into consideration a casa for the night, you're looking at $60 to $100 in Havana, for most of us. Other places in Cuba it is around $40 to $70.
Now, if you are already staying in a casa as your main lodging, just remove $30 from the prices in Havana above, and $20 from elsewhere. This is from my experience.

Well I certainly don't know the "real" story never having been there (Costa Rica or Cuba) but it seems a little high compared to República Dominicana and at least there it is completely legal (and accepted) so you are always on the right side of the law as long as the lady has a cedula de identidad (proves she is of legal age). For me, sometimes coming from the east coast of Canada, Costa Rica is a real reach requiring all kinds of crazy changing of flights but I've certainly considered it a couple of times (just for the visiting, never for the sex vacation kind of scenario).

JD. I cannot speak about Costa Rica or the DR but if you want a truly, great experience, go to Havana. I've been many times and I'm thinking of going tomorrow for a few days. I've travelled alot but Havana is a trip into the past. Beautiful friendly women. All they want to do is meet Canadians. Not Gringos (Americans). Havana is safe, you can have a cigar wherever you go and before you know it, you will be dancing in the street, to the sounds of a local band playing in a bar. Stay in a Casa Particular, for the experience of the city and women. You can find one for as low as $30 Pesos and up to hundreds of Pesos, depending on the area, if you want a large home with a pool and cook, etc. Breakfasts at a Casa will cost you $5 for a lot of food. And as you've heard, the food isn't amazing but the fruit and fish is wonderful.

The other cities and countries will be here forever. Havana, as we know it today, will soon disappear. I could write a book about Havana but I won't. Go and experience it.

been to CR twice, not to Cuba..but echo some of the above--CR---legal, simple, good choice, but not insane (see post on thailand!)...go to a bar (I really recommend Sportsman Lodge) 30-50 ladies...all available...chat, pick one..establish price..away you go

Surprised Mr Draper hasn't chimed in---but my impression of Cuba is that it is more of "game"...more coy, more secret--not legal....so more challenging--now it IS on my list....and I'm sure as you can see from above worth going to...but since you asked about first time---I'd vote CR...
