Hi guys,

Lately, there has been a few bannings on Terb. There must be a reason for it, and we are NOT supposed to question about it on the open board.

I must admit to you guys, my mouth is itchy to pop the question sometimes... As far as I can search and try to understand some of the banning, I am at a lost for what my IDOL has committed to be banned. Terb is not the same withOUT HIM posting openly his opinion (many times different from mine though) and it kind of feels weird that the other party is untouched.

PLEASE I would not want to have you chime in OUTSIDE the guideline here, but I would love to hear what you think about Oldguyzer2 as a member, his contribution, his decency... while he is a member .

Hopefully others feel the same like I do and joint in the PETITION here for his membership to be restored.

Cheers to all.

When it comes to online communities I think it's important to remember that these are businesses. The owners make decisions based on what's good for the community because a healthy online community results in better profit margins and less work for them. This is a privately owned and operated board and it is up to the facilitators to decide who can and cannot participate. I have learned that we never see the whole picture when a ban is handed down as the MODs do their job; they see all the factors involved, we don't. So much work goes on behind the scenes and it's important to realize that they have the right to revoke anyones access if rules are violated. Moderating a site like this is a thankless job and I wouldn't want to do it.

The bottom line is that it is their board, their rules, their call and I respect their decisions without question. Being on TERB is privilege not a right and if someone doesn't want to follow the rules as the MODs have set out then they shouldn't be here...

As I had stated, it is not a question of the decision at all, but a plea on behalf of a few who really enjoy being a FELLOW MEMBER with the banned poster in this thread. NEVER a doubt about privilege / not-a-right membership. Thanks.

Pretty much.

To paraphrase a political truth, we are posting on TERB at the pleasure of the owner and the mods. There are guidelines and most members follow them well.

Most of the banning are not that surprising.

Thanks for responding, so far: nay : 2 - yay :1 to petition.
I will miss his input and humour in the massage world. Also, in that he is a physician, some of his medical advice was extremely helpful. He was also generous with his help via PMs with me and others. That said, he did pursue the problems with suckme4ever a little too far. I found myself getting caught up with the same problem but let it go a little while ago. I decided to permanently refrain from ever commenting or responding to anything posted by suckme4ever. I am hoping that he will extend the same courtesy to me. We need the Mods to keep law and order or the board will not be the vibrant resource that it is. So all of that being said, if the Mod can see his way to making the ban something other than permanent, it would be good to see OG2 back as a member.

I've known the guy who uses the OG2 handle for almost a decade. He introduced me to some of his favorites and to TERB even though we have a professional relationship in the real world. I know the guy to be decent, warm, caring, and thoughtful. Yes, he's opinionated but that's fine. His opinions often make me either laugh or think.

He believes the ladies in this business deserve respect and he has had three long term relationships with ladies he met through the hobby. He reacted to one member insulting ladies he knows very well personally, and who has shown no respect for anyone else, and while calling that person an a!!hole may have been strong I do echo that opinion.

His advice on both ladies and medical issues was valued here. And he responded to dozens of PMs a week for health information and advice on relationships with ladies in the business. TERB will go on without him but I will miss his sense of humor and hope the mods let him back in. He, along with a few other members, kept TERB vibrant and interesting.

And I'll miss that stupid grin at the end of his posts :D

He never was an A-hole. He is a fun loving guy and always joking around. He seems like he was going thru a rough ride the past few weeks and venting his anger in here and got out of hand a bit. But i do not think A-hole is a real harsh word compared to mother fkr, pimp and bastards which I was called by some guy a few days ago. JMHO.

Good people. Post two is very accurate. There are often warnings etc. that proceed a ban that are not seen by the general populous. Many bans are for short periods. This one seems to be permanent.

I would agree that it might be a good idea to let people know what someone was banned for but it would become a difficult situation to manage. It would also start controversy.
