Week 15 - 9 & 6...

Week 16 – Some tough calls. But, what the hell…

Picks based on current Pro-Line odds:

* Rams +3.5 I think the game will come down to a field goal
* SD +.5 Coin flip. The Jets are in a mess if that helps…
* Minny +8 Peterson should help keep this close against the Texans
* Car -10 Huge risk, but the Raiders really suck
* GB -14 Coin flip. Like the Pack at home vs. a road Titan team
* Philly +7.5 The public is all over Wash, but the Eagles are at home and the pressure is on the Skins
* Buf +5 Bills and Dolphins - May be a field goal game
* Cin +3.5 Which Pitts team will show up?
* Jak +16 NE may take a breather this week.
* Indy -8.5 The Chiefs have mailed it in
* NO +2.5 Dallas is over-rated and the Saints offense is clicking
* Clv +14 Like the Pats, the Broncos may take the week off
* Chi -7.5 The Bears need this game more than the Cards do
* Bal +3 Tough call, but Balt should use Rice more often…The Giants will miss the playoffs
* Sea +.5 The 49er’s may take a break after their Sunday night win

My fav picks this week - Minny, Philly, Cin, NO and Baltimore.

The Pats/SF game last Sunday night was fantastic!

I was 10-6 ATS last week, not too bad.

Best bets for week 16

Indy -7.5 at KC. Coach Pagano is back that will give them a boost. KC is horrible.
Chi -6.5 at Ariz. Bears will take out frustration on Arizona. I see at least 2 pick 6's for the Bears D.
NO +2.5 at Dal. NO seems to be clicking, their D has improved tremendously over the past few weeks. Dallas has a penchant for choking in big games.

Final week. Some teams play for pride while others can’t wait to hit the golf course…

Not too bad last week 10-5.

My calls for all games based on pro-line odds:

• TB +5.5: Atlanta may be at home, but chances are they will rest some personnel in the second half. TB may slip in a late TD to cover
• Buf -4.5: The Jets are a mess and the Bills are at home
• Bal +2.5: The Ravens have an outside chance to improve their ranking while Cincy will probably rest up for the WC game next week
• Chi -4.5: The Bears have a glimmer of hope whereas the Lions have been a disappointment
• Ten -5.5: Coin flip. Figure the home team may as well win one for the fans
• Phi +7.5: The Giants have been in major tail spin. Philly wins a final game for Reid
• NO -6.5: Coin flip. The Saints are at home and Carolina just wants to go home
• Hou -6.5: Indy has WC wrapped up and the Texans need a win for # 1 seed
• GB -3.5: The Packers need to win to keep the # 2 seed.
• Stl +12.5: Tough call here. The Seahawks need the 49er’s to lose to the Cards (unlikely), so I’m saying that Seattle sits the starters
• NE -11: Coin flip. NE wants to keep their ranking and get back on track. Hopefully the weather is bad for the Dolphins
• Den -16.5: Coin flip – will not bet this game. A Texan loss gives the Broncos the #1 seed. KC may cover on a late TD
• SD -10.5: Another coin flip. SD is bad, but so are the Raiders. Maybe home field will work for the Chargers…then again maybe it won’t
• SF -16.5: Same scenario as Denver. Build a lead then coast.
• Dal +3.5: If the spread was under 3 I would go with the Redskins. I see this being a field goal game – Glad to see it is on Sunday night

Top picks – Chicago, Philly, Hou, GB & Dal.

The Clv-Pitts game is not on pro-line. I would take the Steelers (-6) at home to bounce back and end the season on a positive note.

Denver & SF will probably get large leads and then rest the starters, so a possible late cover for the underdog comes into play.

Atlanta, Indy, Cincy and Seattle have little to no chance of improving their play-off seeding so they will probably rest the starters.

I couldn’t find any statistics, but I am curious as to how the home team fares when non-play-off teams play in the final season game…seems that they would have an obligation to the fans to send them home happy.

Anyone else like Indy +6.5 and Sea -3 for today's games? I think Indy will keep it close and Seattle to cover. Good luck

Definitely like Indy at that price. The Hawks/Skins game is a toss up for me. Seattle is a much better team at home so I'm going to lean with Wash. I was perfect on my predictions yesterday - made a few$.

Line is now Ravens -7 (some even at -7.5). I'll lay the points. Indy is a terrible road team and I can't see a rookie QB go into Baltimore and stay close.
I like Washington. Again, Seattle is a terrible road team. Yes, RGIII is hurt but he'll do just enough for the SU win.
GL guys.
