Just bought wndows 7
all tje letters are tiny
how do i get them to normal size?
You probably have a high screen resolution, (ie: there are too many pixels displayed on your monitor, so each pixel is too small).
Try right-clicking your desktop, and chose
Properties - they may have changed the name of
Properties in
Windows 7 to 'Preferences', or similar. It should be the last item on the short cuts menu. Alternatively, you could open the
Control Panel, and select the icon called 'Desktop Display', or a similar name. This should open the
Display Properties dialog box, or one with a similar name. Go to the Settings, and make the screen resolution smaller, (you would drag an arrow towards the left to do this in
Windows XP). The farther you drag the arrow, the larger the display will be on your monitor, but you'll also see less of an open
Window, so you may have to use scroll bars more often.
If only the text is too small, (not desktop icons, for example), click the Appearance tab instead of the settings tab, and increase the font size.
