Do you give your regular SP a Christmas gift?

What is the norm for giving your regular SP a Christmas gift. I have been seen my SP for about eight years now and I have always brought her a Christmas present. If my wife only new that I spent more on my SP than my wife. LOL. My eight year reg is no longer in town and I only see her occasionally and usually not around Christmas so no more presents, but I still treat her very well will dinner and gifts when I see her. Now my dilemma. I have been seeing another SP for three years. I travel to see her and I have also bring her a present for Christmas and her birthday. This year I won't be seeing her through the holidays. The last time I was with her was in November and the next time I see her it will probably be February. Do I just ignore Christmas this year? Any suggestions?

My suggestion is to reread your post and give your head a shake.

That's good advice for me too. I was shaking my head when I read it for the second time.

For the record, I saw my favourite SP on Friday night for probably the last time for a few months (gotta pay for Christmas and vacation LOL), and gave her a gift card to a spa I know she likes. I don't feel the need to shake my head over that.

Agreed. I've done it on occasion but only for really special girls. If it feels right to you do it. No need to ask for acceptance from this crowd.

I give Christmas gifts to my favourite or regular SPs. It doesn't have to be mucho expensive. Gifts are not necessary but I'm sure they are appreciated. You only give if you really like the particular gal and her service.

The OP though said he got his regular a more expensive gift than his wife which I disagree with. If I was married, the guilt factor would force me to buy an extra nice gift for my S.O.

Also, to answer his question, if he's not going to see her through the holidays, then just send an email to wish her a very Merry Christimas. The gift isn't necessary.

Ditto. (With respect to the naysayers, I would imagine they are married and don't feel it's necessary, especially when they go to just get their rocks off, which POV I can appreciate).

My regular doesn't watch the clock and at times when we were really enjoying ourselves 1 hour would turn into 2 1/2. I ask if I owe her anything and she smiles and says "No it's my pleasure." I bring her random gifts or a bottle of wine throughout the year, but if I totaled all the extra hours she spent with me it would add up to quite a bit. I gave her a Christmas gift tonight that was something I knew she would really like, and cost just over two hours worth of her time. She loved it, and the evening was VERY worthwhile. But I didn't give her a gift for "worthwhile", or because I owed her, it was because I like her and enjoyed giving her a present.

I am not sure that being a bachelor is an excuse for having a regular sp for eight years. I can see how you might want to fuck an sp more than once without being pathetic. But for eight years...

Same here. I give my lady gifts all the time as I want to give her gifts and not because I feel obligated or compelled to. Christmas, Valentines and her birthday, I've given her something as I want her to know that she is special to me. She gives me extra time during all our visits (which is pretty much weekly) but I've never asked for it; just something she likes to do. Sometimes, I just wonder how these things evolve somehow.

I was so embarassed yesterday after spending the night with my japanese FWB who used to be SP for a few months. I went there with nothing for her, but when I dropped her off at her school, she pulled out a gift box from her bag she brought back from japan 4 days ago and gave it to me. I wasn't expecting it so I just had to tell her a sweet little lie I had her's at home but waiting till the 20s of the month. Now I have to go shopping for her.

Well, you would know her tastes and likes from spending time with her, would you not?

I gave my fave SP a nice bracelet last time. Just a nice, dignified little gift. She loved it and it was from me. That's all that mattered to her.

I have in the past and it was appreciated. This year I have a new favorite but unfortunately I can't make it to see her around the holidays as I will be out of the country. I thought I might send her a gift card or a little something but the agency will only take bookings, not let me send her anything. So I guess I wait till we can get together again.
