A friend of mine was in Southern Europe this Summer and he said that quite a few women wear this as a bikini bottom on the beach. Of course, some women (and men) wear no bottom (or top) at all.

I prefer the new one. I find the old one not very flattering for Jessica as it looks like the proportions are considerably distorted by the camera angle/lens (perhaps this was intentional?). Having said that, I haven't had the pleasure of meeting her yet but it looks like she has a lovely figure based on other pics on her site if they are accurate.
