Live beneath your means. Save up money to start up a business. Get a decent idea for a business and start the business. Then study your competitors in depth and be better than them (no matter how much work it takes). Take calculated risks when expanding.

It's not rocket science.. But you'd be surprised how many whiners are out there who refuse to put in the time and effort to make a success out of themselves.

On the Edge
In order to make seriously big money, you need to be forward thinking enough to predict what the next 'big thing' is going to be, and find a way to pro-actively fill that demand, and arrive in the market ahead of the trend. Look at every 'must have' commodity or service today and you will find a rich guy who got there first to meet the need before anyone realized there actually was a need. Hard work is good, but working smarter, not harder is the key. Good ideas cost nothing.

How did this thread turn into an army discussion? I was hoping some wealthy members like Loki, fuji would offer advice.

I asked Loki if he wanted to comment. He said he does not qualify because he is only comfortable. :).

Not running for elected office, so I don't give a shit.... Having said that, how is saying that Canadian soldiers get a good deal a bad thing... ?
Really? It was what you posted after that comment that was offensive. Of course you omitted that point. There have been quite a number of soldiers on the front lines fighting and dieing recently. I guess you don't count them as worth remembering.

Being a Canadian soldier is probably not a bad deal, though. They never fight..
.... and there is a question why some in here think you're a &^%%$#?
More than "some people" think that...
Your statistical agility is impressive, but I don't care. I don't glorify war and have no interest in fighting myself. I wasn't putting Canadian soldiers down, just pointing out that it's probably a better deal than being an American soldier....

It is important to realize that closer only has a nodding acquaintance with truth. He counts on people not noticing or not caring enough to call him on his version of truth and what he said. :)

You should create a new handle and pretend to be your own wife... Then "she" can tell us how rich you are...
It is a lot easier to just spend a few years on terb and go through a couple of of ATFs every year and make a fool of yourself and spend $40,000 on each one.

It proves you are emotionally needy and damaged but I guess it shows how much you can blow on the hobby?

Compare American soldiers and Canadian soldiers. Which one would you rather be? I'll go with Canadian, myself.

I'd rather be a Canadian soldier as well. Canadians are tougher and better trained. The average Canadian soldier also has more battle experience than the average American soldier.

You made no mention of US soldiers, nor a direct comparison with their Canadian counterparts. You simply said Canadian soldiers don't fight. Nice dance, Pinocchio

You fell into his trap. cLoser was caught red faced in an idiot lie and now he can change the focus away from his disrespect for the military.

I was not referring to you c-loser. Given how happy your regulars are to see you, I doubt if you could find enough new girls to spend that much on in Toronto :)

No offense intended to Canadian soldiers..... If I wanted to disrespect someone, I'd do it directly.... Take you, for example....

Directly...

... Like on a discussion forum where everybody uses aliases and nobody really knows who anybody is? That kind of directly?
