Yea, you never know which Rampage will show up. Seems like all my fav Pride fighters are sometimeish in the UFC. You never know which Shogun, Cro Crop or Wanderlei will show either. I guess the long grueling career plus the $$ the UFC pays them makes them wanna jus coast and not take it serious.

Well remember this one thing.

There was not any testing in Pride or any events out of Japan.

So it doesn't surprise me that some of the fighters look like shadows of themselves. Especially Mirko, shogun and Wandy.

Now this does not mean that I am naive the fact that it is going on in the UFC but at least the commissions make them work a little harder at ''cheating''.

Good point. As luck would have it, those were the three names I'd had the most hope for in the UFC. I expected Mirko to get and keep the HW belt a long time, with Silva holding the LH Belt.
Boy was that a miss on my part..lol

Furthermore look at Dan Henderson.

One of the better fighters to come back to the UFC from Pride.

But he wasn't exactly lighting it up at first. Could it be that he had to adhere to the testing.

Then all of a sudden he wins 7 of 8 and we find out that he is on testosterone replacement therapy.

Ask yourself why all these fighters in the prime of their life need TRT?

Yet we don't hear any mention of this in the other major sports.

Something is afoul here I suspect.

I heard on UFC Central today that Stefan Bonnar failed the drug test for his Silva fight. He tested positive for steroids.

Yeah, he was ripped. Best shape he has ever been in since joining the UFC. Unfortunately roidz does not give you talent.
Bonnar or Forrest had no business being in the ring with Anderson.
