I think the Nexen takeover will be approved. Can't imagine Harper wants to piss off the Chinese.
Yeah seems like it's official plus a smaller deal for Progess Energy by Malaysia's Petronas also greenlighted.

Are all business enterprises in China state-owned? Is there capitalism there? Can we buy out Chinese business enterprises?
I hope Nexen has some assets in the Canadian Arctic. It never hurts to have a superpower on your side when the Russians starts being a nuisance like laying claim to parts of the Canadian Arctic.
