Roy Thomson or Metro Hall is just about the cheapest that I know of around there.

The rates downtown on the weekend are not as exorbitant as those during the weekdays.

If you are planning on having a meal downtown before the game, there are also some restaurants that contribute towards the parking. For example, I recall The Marche paid for some parking at the Brookfield Place.

True, obviously just stay away from The Dome as the surrounding area will still charge 'Event' prices. As long as walking isn't so much an issue, a Green or a Red Parking lot on Queen will be inexpensive on a Saturday. I suggest going for an early lunch and park for the day as it will be tougher to get a spot.

I haven't drive to downtown for a long while. There is one near Sony place near Union Station where you can park for $5 at night time. However, I must warn you the traffic congestion is horrendous especially after a ball game. Can take you 45 minutes just to get out of the parking lot.

ATrium at Bay has underground parking went to the MAdonna show and parked there. It was about a 20 to 30 min walk but nice night.

Bay and Dundas

They have an evening deal that was crazy cheap.

$5 in the evenings (6pm to 6am) and $7 from 6 am to 7pm on SAturday and sunday

Take a walk grab a meal on the way or stop in on some shops or what not

I usually park at Rees, directly south of the dome, between Lakeshore and Queens Quay. But this is also the last weekend, and the Yankees are in, so you never know.

I tried the Go Train once. Total waste of time, imo. Coming from London, I could drive to the stadium, leaving shortly before 11, and be in my seat shortly after 1, and this was back in the 50,000 per game days. Taking the Go, I had to be in Oakville for the 11am train, as the noon didn't really leave enough time, with the walk back from Union. I'm not sure what the schedules and fares are like now, but I'd just as soon pay event parking prices and free up a couple hours of time.
