Nice but you miss the point entirely.
"Ugly American" has nothing to do with attractiveness or good looks.
Ugly American is a pejorative term used to refer to perceptions of loud, arrogant, demeaning, thoughtless, and ethnocentric behavior of American citizens. Ugly American: stereotypical offensive American: a loud, boorish, insulting American, especially one traveling abroad, who is regarded as conforming to a stereotype that gives Americans a bad reputation.

It's well known on a global scale Americans in general, not the volleyball team, are typically ugly, when you travelled to over 50 countries and have seen and hear a constant message from locals then it's more than just smoke. It's unfortunate but that's reality. Canadians are no where close in the same category as Americans globally, fortunately.
This is bullshit, Michael Phelps calls himself a legend and he's an ugly American, Usain Bolt does the same and nobody says a word. I've travelled quite a bit and the Americans I met were fine. The reality is is that Canada barely registers with people in other countries.
I have to tell you, I don't know why Americans get this reputation either. Most Americans I meet are very nice, and aren't louder than anyone else.
Hey, can you post a link to the nude photos of the U.S. women's water polo team as well. Thanks in advance. BTW: One of the woman was interviewed afterwards and she said that shoot took 7 hours and they were naked the whole time. If I was the photographer it would have take 60 hours. Hee, hee, hee.

I've travelled to numerous European countries and some African and Middle Eastern countries. Americans can be as obnoxious as the Quebecois, especially at the bars, lol.
btw, I've observed this for the past 30 plus years, not just in recent years.
