I recently came a across a story where a woman left her husband because she found out he had been surfing porn.
I don't really know the details other than somehow she searched his computer and found the porn images in the cache, or maybe links to sites. Don't know. But she left him she was so disgusted with him.

To me - this seems fucking over the top strange and unbelievable that a woman would be sickened by porn that much. Most of my GFs and I have surfed porn together, or rented the odd skin flick, bought a package at a hotel, gone into a sex shop. I know that some guys are obsessed with porn, but to me (maybe I am desensitized) - porn is harmless. (All bets are off for kiddie porn - you've crossed a line there.)

I didn't know that such women exist (and she's only in her late 30's, she's not from a different era). I'm wondering if anyone here has had similar experiences with wives or GFs who are so disgusted by porn?

I guess if he has been ignoring her sexual needs so he can download porn late at night and is 'too tired' to do her she has a valid complaint. Not to mention if buddy looks up sites that have no appeal to her that could be a dealbreaker. But really who cares. Relationships end for trivial matters everyday.

When I'm not in the mood my wife turns on some porn to get me going so she can jump my bone :D

I know it's hard to believe, but there are some people, men and women both, that are not into porn of any kind. Probably the girls I've had in past relationships, when I was much younger, that were saving themselves for marriage.

My ex hated it with a passion.
Having said that, I think she was somewhat healthier than I was.

i find older women have a distaste for porn compared to the 30 and under....i think its the internet's influence on the young women that has changed the perception that porn is EVIL

I've met women who despise pornography, making arguments along these lines:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feminist_views_of_pornography#Anti-pornography_feminism
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feminist_views_of_pornography#Women_reduced_to_sex_objects
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Femini...Enticement_to_sexual_violence_against_females

I've also met some very prudish women who were even uncomfortable seeing nudity in classical art (they would have rather seen fig leaves). I presume they wouldn't react well to pornography.

I met a woman in college who hated porn. She went on and on about how disgusting it was. I said porn wasn't bad and she said I was sick and slimy and probably had porn stashed under my mattress. I told her it was on the bookshelf and she stormed out that day saying I was disgusting. She was enrolled in some "women's studies" electives where they were teaching her how evil porn was, and she happily agreed .But we were still kind of friends.

So one day I made a birthday card for her. I got a nice hallmark card, and then I got some hardcore porn, and pasted close-ups of people fucking all over the inside of the card. Then I met up with her after class and gave her the card as her present. We spent the next two months having non stop sex, starting about 2 hours after I gave her that card. She still says she hates porn, but it sure did work on her.

I miss college days :) I don't think that sort of thing happens in "real life" outside of a university environment. It's all much more planned now, girl comes out, you both know what's going on. No surprise sex like that.

Certain porn I can handle but I see why women would find some types of porn degrading. Some of the shit that's out there is disgusting. Spitting, name calling, slapping. It's gross.

I had an ex who was adamantly against it. Meant that I has to wipe my browsing history more regularly.

yup... go to your local church. There are plenty who don't watch porn, never watched porn, nor will ever watch porn.

The woman in question is not homely. I was just surprised. She told me about finding porn images on his computer (meanwhile I'm thinking "I wonder what she would think of me being on TERB" (I can probably answer that question just sitting here.) I have a few nude photos on my computer. Max say 50 or so. Just a few "unique" stills I've seen over the years that gave me pause. I do have a few sites favourited away - xhamster, guesshermuff, etc. though.

But I severely doubt that a week goes by that I don't look at some porn or another on line (pretty much exclusively).

I've knew a man who was addicted to porn... It consumed his whole life.... I've also known men that surf porn ,leave it on their browser and deny watching porn either before you find that out or after you question them after finding it in their search history. So really i can see her leaving the guy if he was obssesed or a liar... But for regular porn watching.... Yeah its a little far fetched. But im also a fan of porn and watching it with my partner... So i guess my opinion on this isnt the best.

I work with one. BUT, she can't shut her cumhole about some book called 50 shades of grey. But she insists that ALL men are pigs and we all watch porn.
In response - I did say that we were not being pigs with each other - on the side of the opposite gender, there are women willing to sleep with the known "pigs"
