Truly a world class beach.....http://www.cluborient.com/
Been there, it's excellent and like most of the beaches on the French St Martin, clothing optional.

My vote goes the the Beaches in Cape Town South Africa, miles of sand and great swimming; Milnerton, Clifton, Camps Bay, Hord Hoek, Hout Bay, False Bay, Fish Hoek. Miles of beach on both Oceans, which is the secret.

There's also lots of sharks off Cape Town!
Anyway, if I really want to swim, i'll take a fresh water lake always but to frolic around, the beach and the ocean is better and the salt water is good for you. Just watch not to get it in your eyes or your mouth. It stings your eyes and tastes horrible.

The shark threat is over blown. More a case on the Indian Ocean coast. The up side with ocean swimming is you can do it for hours. The down side is don't swallow and wear eye covers.

Actually I don't much like pools, the chemicals are too harsh, and the trouble with beaches is that sand seems to get into all kinds of unwanted places... My preference is diving off the back of my boat while anchored in 10' of water at Ward's Beach.... Hmmmm. Think I'll go tho evening!

LMFAO. Shut up Google Queen. The only swimming you do is in your own filth in front of a computer. What a loser.

Oooooh, that hurts.

It still doesn't change the fact that the shark attack thing is overblown, although not to the one who gets attacked, but in the big picture.
