Does anyone know how to remove a V Grabber.
I have uninstalled and also did a restore point. It is still there.
My security systems have done nothing, any advice?

take a long time to explain. go to google and type in "how to remove vgrabber from (insert web browser here)" there are a tonne of websites that will give step by step instructions. it's not a dangerous virus, more like a hijacker.

first thing you would want to do is go and reset your homepage to google. nothing more annoying than not having google as a homepage.

Hi Simon

I have been doing that for the last two days, nothing is working, but will try again.
I hate calling the Nerds, they charge 200.00 every visit

Thank you

first you need to go to your unistall programs list in your control panel and find vgrabber and delete it from there but see if there are any other programs that have the same manufacturer.

then you go to the tool's>options part of your browser and find the tool bar option and turn off vgrabber.

is a short little thing saying do what i just said. this is for firefox. there are also links for chrome and IE but i don't know why anyone would use IE.

Thank you for your help
You can uninstall vgrabber every where you see it
But it is still there (it is a hitchhiker)
Had a company take it off for me, online, I watched, it took them from 10:00 last night to 9:00 this morning
That sucker hides everywhere
Thanks again

how much did they charge you for that ? you could have looked it up on google and done it yourself. lots of sites had the step by step instruction on it.

Believe me I did look it up on Google and U Tube, they don't get it out of the guts of the computer. The Nerds didn't know what it was and the first company I contacted was looking for the wrong thing.
This company in China knew and cleaned it out of my computer as I watched. They charged me 69.99 and I have a months warranty.
When my computer doesn't work, I don't work.

Thank you again,
