I'm waiting for fuji to come along and tells us this is just a statistical anomaly, and that most spree shooters are black
Sadly, terrorism is not new to Sikhs. Air India bombing, Golden Temple, assassination of Prime Minister Ghandi, etc.
And niether is violence in general. WWII, WWI, a number of invasions of the Caribbean Islands, the Philippine - American War The War of 1870 (and all of those led by Otto Von Bismarck), and the many wars in Europe (waaayy too many to name, let-alone to list).
Why would it be an anomaly? You would expect 7 out of 10 shooters to be white, in a country where 7 out of 10 people are. It's true blacks are more likely than whites to commit these crimes but there are a lot of whites in the US.

Absolutely. There have been a large number of black shooters in the hate crime category. They tend to be Muslims from Nigeria/Somalia/etc with links to Al Qaeda. Along with shooters of various Arab descent they are probably the most common category of hate crime shooter in the United States. There have been several of them in recent years.
Leaving aside the hate killings, spree killings in general appear to break down roughly proportional to race, with whites committing slightly fewer killings than their share of the population would suggest. This is PROBABLY the result of socio-economics. Whites are probably a bit wealthier, and perhaps wealthier people get better treatment for their mental illnesses or something. In other words, there doesn't seem to be a racial component to spree killing, other than the extent to which there is a racial component to socio-economics.
In the case of street gun violence, though, blacks for some reason commit crimes at a rate that greatly exceeds their share of the population, even, greatly exceeds their share of the poor population. Why this is has been the subject of many threads on terb, my own theory is that the gangster culture promotes this sort of violence and some urban blacks are growing up in a culture that promotes this behavior. In the thread where frank and I went back and forth over this, we were able to turn up data showing that this does NOT extend to blacks outside major urban centers. So it is a particular problem not with blacks as a race, but with blacks living in urban centers.
A few weeks/threads ago you defined 'black' as a culture that glamorized gangs and violence. Now you are lumping in a very culturally different group in order to make your 'research' explain a completely different set of circumstances.
Nor was the exemplary b*r*a*v*e*r*y (WTF) and service that the Sikhs soldiers exhibited in the SE Asia theatre fighting on behalf of the Allies against the Japanese.
Have you notice how many immigrants are coming from that part of the world. Larger population means more places needed to worship; not hard to figure that one out.

I don't care that blacks kill more than their representation in the population because their numbers in Canada are small.
I'm more worried about the white killers because as fuji pointed out 7/10 killers are white.
When I heard the story. I automatically assuemd the shooter was white.
Then I hear he was the leader of a white supremecist group.
Ever notice how no matter what race the killer is the news adds a label to distance the killer e.g. terrorist, gang member, mentally ill, racist.
I'm more worried about the white killers because as fuji pointed out 7/10 killers are white.

Thats because most of the time one of those labels is spot on.
This guy was clearly a hater. He belonged in some racist band, and he also had the classic white supremacist tattoo (top left shoulder; circle around a cross)
