I expect responsible government, someone that can get the job done instead of shouting "Monorails! Ferris Wheels!"

Karen should run for Mayor. The only shame is we have to wait for Ford's short term to finish before the real work to the city can be done.

Lets keep in mind this is a 30 Billion dollar 'plan', with as of yet no funding. We will all be dead before this come to fruition, so let's not all think it's gonna solve traffic tomorrow.

But I do like the plan for subways, as Ford has wanted. Just seems odd we build some LRT's and tear others out.

Oh well...you gotta give FORD credit for putting the people in place that will fulfill his vision of subways!

I said personal...the terms you listed are generalizations and slang. Oh and terms such as fascist, racist, money hungry, environmental destroyers...etc are never used by the left. I never once heard Kyle Ray called a "fat shit douche" cause that's personal. Oh and Miller should really get his teeth fixed!

Ford said development fees along the new subway lines would contribute. Yes the city and the province would have to put up the money first. Lastman was ridiculed for building the Sheppard line by the downtowners, now the development along that line is huge. I don't know if they are collecting development fees from those developers now...but they should.

I'll chip in $200 a year forever if any extra costs come out of her and the rest of the counciller's salaries. given that scenerio, they would back down immediately. she and everyone else knows it's a lie. this will cost people their houses. but if a small sum will take care of subways forever, let's do the same for water infrastructure, streets, hydro,...what else? get er done!

Yes, as a bike commuter I do take his ignorant comments that I deserve to die personally.
And he should have known that being an adversarial mayor in Toronto is like swimming with the sharks, and sooner or later he would get bitten. At the end of the day, all his problems in trying to get things done are his own damned fault.

Stintz might be great on transit and but be careful what you wish for: she's a Conservative party member and we don't know her stance on our hobby.
