Joseph Pulitzer, Newspaper Publisher and Journalist after whom the Prize is named.
An absolute travesty of justice. He was lynched after having his sentence reduced by the Governor. Most people who have studied the case (athough all the States files both the prosecutions and the Governors have disappeared) believe that the Janitor Jim Conley was the murderer.
