Definitely Elizabeth the 1st or Mary Queen of Scots. That dress is typical of the Elizabethan age so it couldn't have been Anne Boleyn.
Here's another drawing of Anne Boleyn. Looks pretty consistent to me, especially the nose.

As you notice the neckline is bare which it wasn't in Elizabethan fashion. That's why they have those big stiff collars around her neck.
So, which on is it? They look like they have different hairlines to me so I do not think they are the same.

Hmm, I would rate her a high 6 to low 7. If that's Anne Boleyn, I think Henry VIII could have done a lot better, being the king, etc etc. Even if he was a fat old fucker.

As i said either Elizabeth 1 or Mary Queen of Scots. It's hard to be sure since they're only based on artist's portraits.

I swear the two portraits are of the same person, just two different artists' rendition of the lady. The different hairline is just due to different styling and the way the artists saw it. Every other facial feature is a match, as far as an artist's skill goes.

Because you know for a fact or you're just 99.99999% sure? I think there are other subtle differences in the faces like the chin and the mouth that lead me to believe that they are two different people.

I'm about 90% sure, 10% unsure. The chin and the small mouth look like of the same person to me.

Here is a website with that portrait
http://www.tumblr.com/tagged/queen-anne-boleyn
(scroll to the bottom, and the section is about Anne Boleyn)

That's still not proof though, I know. The only way is to find the exact painting, artist, and date, and the name of the painting given by the artist. The upper left corner of the painting has the name A Bolena I think. It's hard to read.

Okay... I used tineye to check out both portraits. Some SP has a Back Page ad using the above picture... otherwise, both do seem to be Anne Boleyn. I think you can now be 100% certain they are the same (as I now am).

I still want to track down the origin of this painting, and find out whether or not the artist was actually in front of Anne Boleyn making this painting. It seems to be the most detailed face of her.

Prestokeys there is a much more detailed portrait of her done by Hans Holbein which is considered the definitive one of her since he was court painter to Henry 8th.
