I use my real name. I always try to text initially also, to be sure my accent doesn't do me in.

I've gotten many non responses from texts where I used my real name.

It is a strange and feminine name, and often wonder if its the reason I got no replies.

That is, the girl I texted doesn't do girls.

It would be courteous to confirm instead of not replying, but time is money I guess.

@cat that may be the case. but it doesn't detract from the fact that at the end of the day today.. it's still crossing the line. here's to hoping it gets sorted in a year or two.

I use my real name, unblocked number and a reference from another SP/Mp. This is after I have checked out the lady"s online personae. This works well for me as I prefer to see someone who screens well and deals with me in a professional manner. This leads to a quicker comfort level with each other and has developed some nice repeats.

To each his own, but I am sure the SP you are seeing uses a fake name like all of them do. 3-4 years ago a prostitute was caught and the list of her clients' phone numbers ended up wih LE. Thanks but I don't want to gamble with my privacy, so no real name from me.
