I honestly can't see how they'll be able to do sufficient justice to the novel. And Harrison Ford as Graaf? Horrible casting. Kingsley as Mazer Rackham will be good though.

I foresee them combining some of the books together if they end up doing multiple movies. It has been a good series and some very interesting stories lines (especially with Bean!).

Movies never end up doing the books justice, but some of them are at least entertaining. Let's hope this is one of those.

Really? You'd actually like to see Speaker for the Dead as a movie? It was the worst of the series.

Yes. I'd also like to see 6 hours of God Emperor of Dune on SyFy (or Space). I'd pretty much settle for any Sci-fi on a screen that wasn't just an action movie with spaceships. (TBH, I read most of the Ender books a long while back, and my impressions of Speaker is pretty groggy at best. I did re-read Ender's Game recently, so that may be colouring my memory of Speaker.)

I read this book yrs ago and soon after bought a copy for my cousins. One of them went on to buy the whole series after. That's how good this is. Damn right they better do the battle school stuff right or this will blow.
