you tell some one using a cellphone in public that they are shining it in your face yet? Probably not because they aren't.

using a phone in public no, use your phone where ever you want. no one is saying that you should not be allowed to use your phone. common decency should tell you that with the signs posted about turing your phone off, the "shorts" about turning your phone off and just a sense of respect for fellow man telling you to turn it off. are you telling me your life will crumble if you don't have a phone with you for 2 hours. i doubt it, it's just you wanting to feel important.

thats not what im arguing here. 1. there are many theatres that ask for you just to silence your phone. 2 Fuji said that if he sees a cellphone in his peripheral vision then its being shined in his face which is retarded. i never said my life is ruined if i don't have my cell. did you even read the thread at all? or are u just reading posts with prime numbers or something? i said i either put it on silent or leave it in the car. but everyone here is acting like if some one checks there cellphone silently the whole entire movie is ruined for everybody which is complete and utter bullshit.

when i am in a dark room such as a movie theater and a bright light comes on it distracts me for a half a second. i look to see what that bright thing is, then when i see it's a phone i turn back to the movie. it doesn't ruin the movie for me but i do see it. anyone that says they don't look at a bright light when they are in the dark is a liar. in a movie theater though the light would need to be in my direct line of sight for me to see it as the way the seating is set. i get what you are saying about it not ruining movies, what i am saying is everyone should leave the cell outside. you don't need it and your life want fall apart. when i say "you" i don't mean you, i just mean you as in everyone as in a generalization. follow me there ?

not every one has the option To leave a cellphone out side. theres no coat check for cellphones at movie theaters. if a group of work mates are going to see a movie on a friday and no one drives then people are going to have their cellphone. Its not a big deal as long as its silent. if you look at every little light and cant focus on a movie you have bigger problems than someones cellphone.

when i see something move, i look. when i see a light in the dark, i look. it's the human nature thing. don't need to leave it outside, just turn it off. how did you even function in this world before cell phones were invented.

again cellphones have been the norm for +10 years. i dont know why some people have theirs on or why they turn it off and frankly i dont care. if it really bothers you go watch a movie in Austin Texas.

you go to a movie to watch a movie, not to text people. you have such a short attention span you need to text or check email while watching a movie that is on you. movies and movie theaters have been around how long ? someone that can't go for more than 2 hours without that many different forms of stimulation is a simpleton. furthermore if you can't go more than 2 hours without texting or playing on your phone you have the brain capacity of a 13-18 year old girl.

Keep on denying it. At this point I think you know your behavior is offensive to others, and the fact that you don't care shows just what a failure of a human being you actually are.

im not denying anything. you're just a hypocrite and even worse than the people who check their cellphones. because you bitch about it and do the same thing. your hypocrisy doesn't even stop at movie theatres but its apparent in other forms of your 'life'. as i said you are a scumbag.

didn't say i can't enjoy the movie, i see a light in the corner of my eye i glance over see what it is then go back to my movie. it don't affect me none. i don't get angry about it. i feel bad for the guy that needs to be so distracted from his sad life that he needs a movie and text and email and whatever else.

What's even worse is that you're not even man enough to admit you're an asshole.

having sympathy for someone checking their cellphone seems pretty silly to me but that's on you.

i know you don't have the intelligence to admit you are a moron. or the intelligence to admit you never had any good points to begin with but that's your hypocritical life not mine.
