Shortchanging by Secret Service Draws Strong Rebuke
NEW YORK - April 20, 2012 (The Borowitz Report) – Days after Secret Service agents shortchanged a group of prostitutes in Colombia, the international trade group representing hookers downgraded the United States’ credit rating from AAA to B.
The strong rebuke from the International Alliance of Professional Escorts came after a Secret Service agent reportedly paid one of its members $30 for an $800 service, or only 4% of the stated price.
The statement from the International Alliance of Professional Escorts said that in downgrading the United States’ credit rating it was sending a clear message that its “members should be aware that doing business with the government of the United States carries with it a significant risk.”
“We are urging our members to avoid conducting transactions with the United States and to focus on more reliable customers, like the International Monetary Fund,” the statement added.
Just hours after the announcement from the escorts’ group, the U.S. Congress passed the following resolution blasting the Secret Service for its actions: “We strongly denounce the Secret Service for consorting with prostitutes, which has traditionally been Congress’s role.”
But it was not all bad news this week for the Secret Service, which today reported a 5000% jump in enlistment.
The agency said that enlistment offices across the country have been packed with prospective agents, including House Speaker Newt Gingrich, who abruptly dropped out of the Presidential race to join.

Couldn't agree with you more. Been to Colombia 16 times on mongering trips. She really is run of the mill for Colombia. Thing that astounded me was that she claims that she was charging $800. Somehow I think that figure is really inflated. I've never had to pay more than $60 for long stay (overnite) and for quickies anywhere from $20 to 30. Basic laws of supply and demand dictate that prices are never high in Colombia. The girls usually outnumber the guys 5 to 1. It truly is a smorgosborg of decadence.

You can get just as good if not better for less (probably twice what he wanted to pay) in Cuba.

I agree that those girls were taking advantage of the situation. How would you compare Cuba with Colombia as far as the 'hobbying' scene goes?
Will I get kidnapped or ripped off in Medelin? Cartagena is a tourist resort town so I understand it's safer. Cuba is safe too.
Only if you have a time machine set for earlier than 2001, lol. Most of the FARC are cleaned out & as long as you don't go looking for dope or underage chicas, you'll be fine.
Medellin is very safe, the girls are smoking hot & the people are friendly. One caveat: learn some Spanish & really try to get the pronunciation down, it will go far with the Colombianos.
Now, if you want to see examples of hot Colombianas, you can go to San Jose, Costa Rica. Lots of Colombianas work Hotel Del Rey....however, they are pretty mercenary & hardened to the biz for the most part. Real Colombianas in Colombia are generally very sweet & give amazing gfe. Been to Colombia 3x & have my 37th trip to CR set for Victoria Day weekend. Feel free to pm me if you need more info.

Life is cheap down in Columbia and you'd better know where you're going and have some knowledge of types of situations you are getting into. It's a poor country and there are a lot of wicked bad ass motherfuckers at street level especially if you wander off the common tourist grid to explore things off the beaten path.
I knew a University of Waterloo engineering student back in the 80's who went down there for a week and he completely disappeared off the face of the earth.
Likely got in over his head in some situation and ended up buried in a shallow grave somewhere in the countryside.
His parents spent tens of thousands of dollars on detectives to try to figure out what happened to him; but, it was like he vanished off the planet. Nothing but a cold trail.
