I'm with Fred, Piers occasionally has some interesting guests.

However, there are times I yell "Shut the fuck up!" at my TV when he incessantly interrupts his guests. That fuckin' irritates me . . .

He sucks ass in a way that only a british git could suck ass. Your description of him is uncannily accurate. If sucking ass was an Olympic sport...

It's not just you.

I like him, in your face English style. He has so many altercations I'm surprised to hear that you think he sucks ass, he doesn't back down from anyone.

The only good thing Jeremy Clarkson ever did was to smash Piers Morgans face in.

I think both he and Larry King did very good jobs. As I have said before, the talent actually lies in making their job look easy, because it is not. I find Piers more confrontational and direct, but I find that he can actually back down too easily. Or a better way of saying it is that I think he could get his guests to open-up more if he were less controversial/direct and more provocative/easy-going. Other than that, he's fine and I like the show, but I don't watch it too much.
I used to watch Larry King whenever possible. Saw Piers Morgan 4-5 times, to me he comes off as being very awkward and uncomfortable in the seat. And doesn't do his homework near as much as King did. Can't remember the guest (might have been Eva Longoria?) but he asked a really obvious question, whatever it was had been plastered in the media for days. She responded "duh what cave have you been hiding in all this time". I've never tuned in again.

Yeah, he sucks and probably licks it too. Can't stand that fake laugh he does sometimes when he's trying to convince his guest and the audience that there is more to him than a money grubbing careerist . American TV sucks ass in general, Bill Maher excepted, so he's just trodding the same path of his celebrity brain-addled compatriots.

Don't watch him, not a fan, but, my gut feeling is that he was very aware of the "hacking scandal" and he is claiming ignorance.

But, I do like that he is banning no-talent Madonna from his show (not that it makes any difference or impact)

No talent, lmao. Here`s a small summary of her achievements, but by no means complete.

"Madonna is ranked by the Recording Industry Association of America as the best-selling female rock artist of the 20th century and the second top-selling female artist in the United States, with 64 million certified albums; she has sold more than 300 million records worldwide.[SUP][6][/SUP] Madonna has won 20 VMAs from a total of 68 nominations, more than any other artist ever. She is the first female artist to receive the lifetime achievement Video Vanguard Award. In 2008, she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, as one of the best-known and most influential artists, producers, and other people who have in some major way influenced the music industry. As of January 2012, Madonna has won 220 awards from 412 nominations."

Didn`t even mention all her grammys, books, movies, etc... btw she`s a great fuck, lol.

Damn, what a no talent loser, imagine if she ever did accomplish something.

just what I've been thinking the past few weeks... I used to watch Larry King... When Piers Morgan came on, I gave him a chance the first few weeks... but these days I just change the channel the moment he comes on. He seems really pretentious.. Larry King just seemed down to earth and connect with the guest and audience.

The criticism I've heard repeated about Piers Morgan is that he's too much into himself. He doesn't just interview or focus on bringing out the most from a guest. He seems like he has to shine in the spotlight too.
