Anybody here familiar with Power DVD? I have Power DVD Version 7 and can't seem to make the "frame capture" work. I press the frame capture button, but can't find the frame capture on my harddrive. Where can it be hiding?

I have a different version but when I right click on the capture button it shows me where I can save the file to. Assuming it captures to the clipboard, open your imaging program, say paint for example and see if you can find "paste"

If you want to record whats on screen, you can always use FRAPS.

Ok, I'll try right clicking next time. So far, I have only tried left clicking. Media Player Classic ({Save Image") and VLC (Snapshot) have a similar function and I have no problem finding the saved image.

Note that the file sizes will be huge since it records in .avi format ( for video ).

If you want to take a screenshot of whats on screen, just press F10 while fraps is running in the background.

Tried both the "Capture to File" and "Capture to Clipboard (the paste is grayed out)" and doesn't work. Is Power DVD a "pay program" and I have to pay to get frame capture?

it's not free but u can download it from torrent and not pay for it , yes u can do screen grab....
If you are trying to edit home made video shot with ur own camera i don't think fraps can do that...."windows movie maker" is a good program for that.
