You know..we all spin our tires in these arguments.

I could tell my daughter, my wife could tell my daughter, her uncle could tell her, her pastor could tell her, the neighbor could tell her to........'do not walk through a park cause a bad man could rape you'

But if she walks thru the park and gets raped....who is at fault? The young girl? The family members for not looking after her? The neighbors for not stopping her from going in the park? NO..The RAPIST is at fault. Yes he did it. He is guilty.

The problem is the girl is still raped...no matter who is at fault.

Just like Marvyn is dead no matter who is at fault.

And I'm sure he was told dressing like a gangster is not cool....He's DEAD"

That's why the hoodie argument is bogus. If he had tats up his ying yang, chains and rings hanging from every appendage and walking like he had a limp, some people might think him a gang member, but Z was fixated and didn' want to hear 'no' from anyone.

I do know this. If I had walked thru there at the exact same moment...minus the hoodie and gangster look, I would be alive.

What does that have to do with Geraldo Rivera's point? Any more than in the supposedly overpowering illustration of the negligee wearing rape victim whether the rapists underlying psychological motivation is hatred of women or sexual?

We know from the 911 tapes that George Zimmerman's attention was drawn to the hoodie.

And what do you say to the Black friends of Zimmerman's who say they do not believe he is a racist?

Danmand there is little point in having a discussion with or attempting to inform someone when they have no desire to pay any attention to what the other party writes and instead feel that "cheap shots" are the way to continue.

You are right, please stop trying to convince me that an unarmed black kid on the way home from a convenience store with a bag of skittles deserved to be shot because he wore a sweatshirt with a hood. You should be ashamed of yourself for arguing that. If I were a judge I would sentence you to 2 days of meetings with feminists arguing that provocatively dressed women deserves to be raped.

The kid apparently was going for Zimmerman's gun.... we'll obviously continue to get more details on this.
