I can relate to what you are saying..... it is all about goals in life... you need new ones every so often or you go stale. I am seriously planning to get out of the rat race and start new adventures. Although, I will say there are many who want to keep you in that rat-race, especially some family. I've had enough, I just want to get rid of everthing I've accumulated and be comfortable. Funny how you worked so hard for material things and then it feels so good to get rid of them afterward! But I have to have new adventures. To go on doing what I have been doing is pointless as I've done it too long. And I've got too many hangers -on. Maybe best they look after themselves now. I have a four year window I have to look at, but after that, I will have to have a major change - especially for my mental well being. Reaching the point where you have to make those changes and move on. New goals, new adventures.

I hear you mile high! I have been fortunate enough to generate some wealth and I so tired of:

The rat race
Accumulation of stuff (I just want rid of a bunch of it)
Toronto traffic
Responsibilities
I could go on forever.

I have been to countries with people with very little and life is less stressful and easy.

If I felt I could, I would.
