I'm guessing this High end club is set up in the Tannery building, hence the name club121
Smart move in my opinion, with lots of professionals looking for a close location to pass the lunch hour !

Very interested in finding out more.....

Also curious as to if there is a dress code? Open/closed are the rooms/areas? How does it look? Maybe I'm just getting the wrong idea. And why a gym... an excuse? hmmm....

Club121 getting shut down?

Anyone read the record today? Certain people are expressing their concern with the new private club. I'm all for it. I hope they don't get shut down.

here and there
They set up in the *Tannery* building? Holy crap. They're totally gonna get shut down now that there's a spotlight on them. No question.

FUCK THE CITY
They even admit that it's not illegal. That a private club is okay! Then the city asks the landlord to boot em out......for what. Doing nothing illegal? Seems they would have a pretty good law suit against the landlord for their cost of start-up to be recouped. Maybe some more for other damages for being led to believe they could do business there. I bet they spent some bucks on stuff already.
What next, come to your house to see what club you may have going on that they don't like??!!!
As they state...they don't have jurustiction over a private club or any body elese private business....the fuck wads that they are.
You see folks this is the kind of interfering that should not be tolerated

Call city hall and object to the city sticking it's nose where it clearly doen't belong by the very law and ruling of our Supreme court.

Doesn't get any more official than the supreme Court now does it?

And yet the city and mayor figure they know better or best.

Repeat

FUCK THE city of Kitchener

If there was a misrepresentation in the lease then that will be a big problem.

Sounds like the landlord and the tenant just want to part ways quietly.
Ya who knows what they said they were going to be to the landlord. That could have a bearing.
Although many landlords don't care what you do as long as it's not illeagal or going to wreck the building. They want rented units not empty space.
This town has small mentality.

Wonder who tipped off the city....maybe one of our Terb brothers is the mayor....DJ is that you....er Mr Zehr sir you honor

This place will not last a week. I'm amazed at how many idiots get their legal advice in bars and pool halls.

Most landlords DO care what goes on in their buildings. Other tenants concerns must be addressed. No one wants to open a business beside an operation frequented by criminals. The idiots who started this place no doubt misrepresented the intended use of the facility and that will negate the lease. Now that there is publicity no one will go near it. Therefore it's screwed comming and going. I am amazed how many people try to open businesses based on bar room legal advice. Always get at least 2 legal opinions from real lawyers with law degrees.
