I've seen these in airline catalogs.... I think my son would be great at this, he's a pretty good skateboarder....

That Trikke looks brutal, sorry V. The Orbit wheels have a much more chance of selling better, not that I care, I have no vested interest in it. lol
But the Orbit wheels you just slap on your feet and go, not much to it and the range of motion is determined by you - tight turns or just going down the sidewalk straight down. I see kids with a skateboard that has a very similar motion like these Orbit Wheels, where they just kick their feet back and forth as they go down a straight line, except the Orbit is done independently.
The Trikke you need a good width of open road or sidewalk just to get it going, very limiting IMO anyways.
I think both would be very annoying on the bike path, right up there with rollerbladers and people walking dogs.
Ahhh well, rollerbladers are out getting their exercise as well and as for dog walkers, they're being responsible getting their dogs out and their asses out too.
