I have been a member of TERB for years, and have been fortunate that my posts have been rarely or even never moderated. How lucky!

After this very long stretch of good luck, one of my very benign (in my opinion) posts was moderated for probably using a 'verboten' word in the subject. It actually came as picked up from a very respected web-zine.

I have no issues with that since that is why the right of moderation is there in moderated groups.

However what was absurd that the same verboten word was also asterisked in the associated link. That changed the entire link and it kept directing to a totally different and unrelated article. Such is the burden of moderation.

After noticing this play of Becket (spiritually), I deleted my original post, changed the link, changed the subject, and thanked my stars for this very rare act of moderation.

All is well that ends well.

Cheers.
