Ladies,

I just wanted to share my thoughts and assist you all with increasing your revenues and customer base, rather than shrinking it - which is exactly what you're doing for 90% of your target market (married men) by not accepting private callers. Let's be honest, single men and horny boys make up a 10% portion of your target market, married men looking for some discreet fun make up the rest. Do you honestly think a married man will reveal his real cell number risking all? Some yes, the majority no. The No's will just not call at all or savvy ones will go buy a pre-paid phone with cash on a bogus name and call you, just like any other undercover cop would that you think you've fooled because he's not calling you from the station lol.

Point is, if you want to increase sales, answer those private calls and screen them. Ask all questions you want to ask and book the appointment if you then feel comfortable, dont just refuse to answer or tell someone to call you back with the number showing. You just might be refusing the nice, good looking married men like me who has money to burn on you, all he's asking for is a little bit of discretion and confidentiality which you deny by doing the above.

Just my two cents, best of luck to you all.

The part that you don't understand and what most people on this board don't seem to understand is that the demand greatly exceeds the supply . So why as an escort would you even go through the trouble when there will be many other dudes who have no problem with this?

If this is an issue for you why not just invest in a disposable cell phone?

Hi poseidon

Many ladies, myself included do offer the option of booking via email, as long as you can make the lady comfortable with a proper intro of yourself etc.

Answering Blocked or Private calls is not an option for most ladies as believe it or not, there are individuals out there who have nothing better do to than call 'industry ladies' to harass and threaten them :( I've had direct experience with that as have many of my peers.

FYI, and happy hobbying!

In your naughty wet dreams
It's a safety thing I don't even answer unblocked calls because there could be a chance of someone currently on my blacklist trying to book. Believe it or not there are some people we do not wish to see an having a heads up on that helps us

That is not true...if it was, prices would be rising rapidly. They are flat, which means the market is in balance or there is a slight over supply. The fact is, we live in a porn culture. Young women are exposed to sex at a very young age through the internet. Seeing middle aged men with young girls is common in porn. So sex with strangers is just less of a big deal then it used to be.

Ladies, ladies. Please. Show some gratitude.

This man, who obviously know much more than any of us about how to run an escort business goes to the trouble of explaining the basic of the sex-for-pay market AND takes the time to write it all for us, in clear and simple language so we can all understand.

The least we can all do is thank him profusely for doing us the favor of telling us how to do our job. Think about it: if there weren't men like him to teach us how to run a successful escort business, how could we ever manage to pay our bills?

Are you really trying to insult your target market? Keep up these remarks and you'll actually have to give thought to "how could we ever manage to pay our bills"

He simply stated his opinion, nothing more. No need for whitty remarks

I personally know of an SP who took a blocked caller who ended up robbing her at knife point (obviously, he's going to pretend to be a nice gentleman on the phone so screening is difficult). Due to that blocked call, there's no way for the authorities to find him. Caller ID is therefore a type of deterrent to would-be criminals.

No! Police CAN check your phone record and do have the power to removed the block on the caller ID during an investigation. Phone companies can do it too, but are not allowed to. The problem with her was probably that she didn't want to go to the cops for obvious reasons.

Actually, I have heard of instances where blocked number is used in a robbery and the police were able to trace the call back to the phone that was in the robbers name (he used *67). If the phone had been set up a to John Doe with a fake address it would have been a different story. Just figured I would share!

Can we take this to the Lounge or something? Why do people think the Incall section is for posting rants. You either post a review or ask for one, or the name of the section should be changed!

This argument appears every month!

-Ohh, I'm married so I need to block my number
-Get a second phone you cheap ass!
-But my wife would find that second phone and find it suspicious, while not thinking it's weird that I come home smelling like pussy.
-Use a payphone, etc.
Followed by 5+ people reiterating the same points.

Don't deal with shady pimps or SPs, don't rip girls off and just delete your call logs. If somebody calls you back act like it's the wrong number. I've said it before and I'll say it again, SPs won't f*** with you just for kicks; they don't need the extra risk or more wasted time.

And stop whining! Hobbying, much like sex itself is only 100% safe if you don't do it. You should realise that if your wife looks through your business, she can take a look at your phone record on your bill and have all the calls listed there, blocked or not.

Rather uncharitable response. The op appears to have good intentions.

The OP was insinuating that SPs were short sighted and clearly hadn't thought of the obvious (when it was him that was ignoring the obvious). It was rather condescending (whether or not he meant it to be is up for debate). In my opinion he deserved the response he got.

If you stick to reputable agencies, treat the girls with respect, you aren't Elliot Spitzer and pay them I see no reason why you should care whether they have your phone number or not.

Maybe you are such a good lay they will stalk you? lol

You should be more worried about your cell phone bill which shows numbers dialed not numbers incoming.
