Washington at NYG ... I do not hold out much hope that Washington can help, but you never know.

Miami at Buffalo ... battle for pride ? I will take Mami by four.

Detroit at Oakland ... both teams need this one. I think Detroit pulls it out by a field goal.

New England at Denver ... try and tell me everyone has not had this game circled on their calender for at least the last two weeks. How is Tebow going to pull off this one ? Go Broncos.

NYJ at Philadelphia ... The Eagles are not out of it yet, damn close(though not close enough for me). I think it ends today for Philly, Jets by a TD.

Baltimore at San Diego ... I guess the Chargers still have slim playoff hopes and a win to the Ravens means at the very least they maintain a share of first in their division and a first week bye.

Seattle at Chicago ... Seattle can play spoiler and put a serious dent in the Bears playoff hopes.

Cincinnati at ST.Louis ... The Rams are in the same spoilers role. A win and the Bengals are done.
Washington did it ! OUTSTANDING !

Miami won by seven.

Detroit won, but by only a point.

New England upset Denver. lol

Jets get bombed, Eagles keep slimmest of playoff hopes alive.

Chargers knock off Baltimore. Ravens will still make the playoffs and are not out of the running for a bye.

Seahawks have pretty much ended the Bears playoff hopes.

Cincy edges closer to a WC spot with yesterday's win.

I was going to say Steelers tonight, but with their injuries I will go with the 'Niners.

If Seattle wins out, and Detroit and Atlanta lose both remaining games , anyone know who ends up with the 2 NFC wildcards? I know Seattle owns the tiebreaker over NYG, Chicago, Arizona, but lose the tiebreaker to Atlanta with that loss in Seattle to the Falcons. It would put Seattle ahead of Detroit based on Division wins, so would that make them the 6th seed?

If GB and NO are the #1 and 2, and get the bye, SF would likely be #3, and Seattle would make another trip to Candlestick... ugh.

Just dreaming is all.... Post your own fave team's playoff scenario, if they are still in the hunt!

I guess they got lost in the dark. :D

Tonight we got Houston at Indianapolis.
The Texans are favored by 6. Ooo, this is a tough one.
I think Houston will win by a lot more then six.

In the NFC there is only one spot remaining and that is NFC East Division winner.
What a coincidence those two teams play each other in the final regular season game on Sunday, New Years Day January 1st 2012.

Green Bay has locked up(first bye) home field through out.
San Francisco and New Orleans have locked up their divisions, but are both vying for the second bye.
Detroit and Atlanta have the WCs.

In the AFC there are a few more teams still breathing on the final weekend.
New England have locked up the first round bye.
Baltimore wins and they get the second bye, or a Pittsburgh loss.
Pittsburgh wins and Ravens lose and the Steelers get the bye. Steeles have at least got a WC locked.
Houston has locked up their division.

On the bubble ...
Denver/Oakland for the AFC West division. Broncos clinch with a win or Oakland loss.
Oakland wins division if they win and Denver loses. Win WC birth if they win and Cincy and Tenn both lose or Cincy loses and NY Jets win.
Cincinnati is in if they win or NY Jets lose and one of Denver or Oakland loses.
Tennessee and NY Jets can still get in, but need help.

Hmmm. Giants are terrible as favorite and they always lose when you expect them to win so they SHOULD lose this week. But Cowboys are just choking down the stretch and you know Brett Romo is going to do something stupid (e.g. interception, fumble). So who do you take?

First, you mean Tony Romo. lol
My heart tells me go with the Cowboys, my head tells me not to rush into a cash bet. You are correct about the Giants not blowing any-one's doors off, good thing for the Cowboys or this game would be meaningless.
I think the Cowboys come though on Sunday and bow out meekly in the playoff game.

It all depends on how Romo's hand is after taking the hit last Sunday. This is the first time they have all their receivers ready to go. It is unfortunate that Murray got hurt otherwise this offense will certainly be interesting to watch this Sunday and possibly into the playoffs. The defense will have to step up as well as the Giants offense is also pretty potent. Manning has an outside shot in joining the 5000 yd. club, but I certainly hope that doesn't happen...

The Boys need the strike first and not let up. ie. the last time they played, they allowed the Giants to come back. The Jets controlled the game early against the Giants, but they didn't take advantage and put up points. The Giants had 1 big play and it all went downhill after. The Boys will have to avoid that or it is golfing season for them early.

I think freestuff was trying to be funny and was calling Romo a la Favre when it comes to doing questionable things during crunch time...

+1.
I saw on the score that they said that Romo's hand is fine but my sportsbook still hasn't put a line on the Boys-Giants game so maybe it's really not that fine. Also, is Felix Jones questionable? Any other players questionable?

Tennessee and New York Jets

Tennessee gets a WC spot if they win and Cincy loses plus one of the following ...
1) Jets win and Oakland loss
2) Jets win and Denver loss
3) Jets loss and Oakland and Denver both win

NY Jets get a WC spot if they win plus Cincy and Tenn lose plus one of Oakland or Denver lose.

To me, too much has to happen for either Tennessee or the NY Jets to get in, but stranger things have happened.

The lone NFC spot is a simple win and your in scenario.
Dallas at NY Giants for the NFC East division crown.

The winner will likely host the Lions next week.

I see the NFC playoffs going like this ...

I think the Cowboys win tonight and get into the playoffs.

Packers, Niners - byes

Atlanta at New Orleans - Saints roll over the Falcons. N'Orleans by 10.
Detroit at Dallas - Lions over the Cowboys. Big Cats by six.

New Orleans at San Francisco - Saints win by more then a TD.
Detroit at Green Bay - I think the Lions have a good chance to knock off the Pack(a possible upset), but I will go with GB in a close game.

NFC Championship
New Orleans at Green Bay - The Saints come marching though en route to another Super Bowl win. NO by four.

By a TD? I don't think so. You must have memory loss, the Niners only loss at home was in OT to the Cowgirls. And that was a blown coverage play as well.
The Aint's are a different team outside the dome, remember St Louis this year?? The Niners will bottle up Brees and no way will Sproles run up numbers on
that defence. The Aint's will get out of the wildcard round, but that is far as they go...
