It needed to be done. Nucky has been showing signs of weakness but has reinforced his position as a ruthless gangster of the era. As for Jimmy he may have the looks and a mean streak but not the brains or connections to run the operation..... I dunno man... Nucky disappointed me on Sunday.That kill Jimmy scene really traumatized me. I lost a little love for him. He's not religious - I don't think it would phase him to off a priest.

Nucky pisses me off. I can't help but like him but he's not a good guy.... ahhh well. I can't wait until season 3 starts.

OK now lets set the stage for round 3, shall we??? Van Alden the strange on the take fornicating, murderous ex Treasury Agent now living in Cicero ( just a bit outside Chicago....cue the Capone angle)
Nuky and his friends standing around on a highway to riches soon to be owned by the church, thanks to the new Mrs. Thompson who no doubt be fitted for a piece of highway not unlike a future New Jersy luminary who shall remain absent in the Meadowlands end zone.
And what of the one eyed man??? will he take vengance on Nuky for killing his friend and what about the mother? will she shack up again with Nuky???
Ahhhh my friends only time will tell. But rest assured they will do it again to us like they did with the Sopranos. Bless them all!!
