It is larger, but lighter than the iphone. Fits nicely in my pants side pocket. A little too thin that makes it easy to lose grip, but ever since I put a case (makes it even bigger) it never slips out of my hand anymore. The battery life sucks, but download an app called "juice defender", my battery last about 2 days because of it. Make sure to turn off wi-fi, bluetooth, gps when not using it, because these consumes a lot of your battery.
Actually, I always have gps off (no need for it), bluetooth (don't use any bluetooth headsets, prefer the old school cable much more), wi-fi, only at home, when I leave home, it's off.
I turn off the Sync option for email, I'd rather refresh my email at my leisure, I don't sync anything with gmail (contacts, pictures, calender -never used their calendar to begin with-).
Other than that, what else would juice defender do differently to help with the battery? Will definitely look into it.
Great UX overall. I really like this phone. I've used the iphone 4 and 4s before, I think the S2 is much better. If you haven't got the S2, I would just wait for the Galaxy Nexus to come out...
What do you like about the Nexus over the Samsung? I haven't read the specs about these things, try not to, things change so fast every other week.
Did a quick search, seems like the S2 is favored slightly over the Nexus S.

But the Nexus S does get the Ice Cream dessert, but, no doubt the S2 will get it as well, and for those who root, a ROM will be available.
Sounds like you got the better of the two phones.
