Someone else put up Firefly which is ridiculous. It is a huge cult hit and they even made a movie Serenity about the series.
So Ceiling Cat your list really sucks
They may have been entertaining, but by no mean mega hits. Jameson Parker that was on Simon and Simon did not work much after the series, I saw him playing a bit part as a security guard in a recent TV show. The other shows were not flops, by they were not at the top of the rating either. I have never even heard of Firefly, just because it is a cult hit, that does not make it a money maker that the networks would want to keep around.
Many of these shows ran 3 - 5 years. I believe that Due South was canceled and then brought back due to popular demand and could not get the original Ray Vechio so they got a new guy.
Great John Wells/NBC show with the gorgeous Charlotte Ross that should have gotten proper support. Only aired four episodes.
Wells Productions also produced Trinity, a short lived NBC family drama focusing on an Irish-American family in Hell's Kitchen. Wells served as an executive producer and writer for the series but it was cancelled after only four episodes due to low ratings. The series won an Emmy Award for composer Martin Davich's music. Davich also worked on ER. The show starred John Spencer, Tate Donovan and Kim **********. It also featured Third Watch actors Bobby Cannavale, Skipp Sudduth, and Molly Price.
