fucking bitch... like why does the media even give her any minutes... This shouldn't even be news.. we all knew it was coming. she's got no talent... probably wouldn't even make it as a porn 'star'. Got married to sell TV/media right to cover her wedding.

I don't feel sorry for Kris Humpfries, even though he didn't even see the divorce coming it seems. I wonder who is going to be so stupid and fall for her shit again. That will be fun.

Watching her show is like watching pretend paint dry. She is hot though.

I watch her show bcuz she is easy on the eye's plus her older sis is cute. The prob with Kim is shes a romantic and anyone smooth enough to make her feel special she wants to marry. K-hump is a goof and I didnt see this lasting over 1 year anyways.

I saw them on the Jay Leno show not to long ago and they seemed smitten with each other. WTF? What a joke.

More spoiled, rich celebrities looking stupid.

I have a hard time believing that. It wouldn't take long for his lawyers to google her bio, and review key details with their client.

It's one thing to claim to have been so caught up in the planning for the wedding that they figured they could resolve the question of where to live later, but it's another thing entirely to suggest that they didn't have any idea who the other person was. Word is he admits to being aware that she wanted to stay in LA, and she was aware that he liked Minnesota, but that they both figured they'd find a compromise.
true.. not to forget Kris knew about her porn tape... Plus I'm sure anyone with a little brain would be annoyed being around her for more than a few hours xD

Any bets Kris doesn't get the ring back, $2 million and 20+ carats. Nice gig.
I bet like a well paid NBA player, he footed most of the wedding bill and apparently flew their entire guests to Las Vegas in a private plane for a party, thinking it was a once in a life event for him.

From one of the tacky news sites:

"What exactly went wrong between the two newlyweds? One possible explanation: the two hardly knew each other. They only met last December, so it might be worth remembering Kim is filing for divorce from a man she hasn't even known a year.

Despite how publicly they both live, there was apparently a lot the two didn't know about each other. A recent episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" revealed that Kris had no idea Kim was previously married (she eloped at age 19 and divorced in 2004). When Kim casually dropped the tidbit while the couple snacked with the family, a stunned Humphries repeatedly asked the family, "You guys are serious… she was really married?" Musing on the revelation later, Humphries asked the camera, "What else do I not know about her?" (We're guessing he did know about her not-G-rated video debut).

Clearly communication wasn't their strong suit. In addition to his being unaware of her romantic past, their day-to-day interactions were no doubt quite limited: Their careers often kept them on separate ends of the world (literally and figuratively). And nothing spells "communication breakdown" better than a husband learning from a gossip site that he's getting a divorce.

When she spoke to People recently, Kim admitted that their living situation had "not been ideal" for the newlyweds. To keep filming "Kourtney and Kim Take New York," Kim moved her husband into a hotel suite with her sister, her sister's child and the child's father (Scott Disick). Not your typical honeymoon situation, that's for sure.

The gossip grapevine also says that Kris was fed up with the film crew following the couple around constantly, worrying that the camera presence was ruining their marriage"

Anyone who says that women are the only ones who "fall in love with love" is blowing smoke. . .

I feel sorry for the guy I think he had more invested in the relationship than she did and he just expected that "of course it will all work out, after all don't we love each other."

Without knowing all the details, I will hazard to say that I feel sorry in a way for him too. I think he was the naive one.

However, shit happens and this isn't the only short marriage. :embarassed:

Someone else said this was for business, but what does he get out of it? A cut? A guy who's an NBA high-earner doesn't need this kind of stunt or negative publicity to make money.

the road of life.....
Are you guys nuts?

This was a business deal, not a marriage.

Get real.

Sheesh! They really pulled the wool over your eyes didn't they?

The saying "You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time," sure rings true. I think this is a case of "all of the people some of the time" based on the comments in this thread.
I think you're right. This was a business deal meant to push both of them to the top of the tabloids - they both benefited from the exposure and the money. Kim's a talentless woman with big boobs and a big ass. Kris is an NBA player without a League to play in. It probably made for some good mindless tv for the masses, too.

Game. Set. Match.

Apparently Kris is not aware of Wikipedia or Google.

Come on, how many people who believe that this person they love and who supposedly loves them is sharing the facts of their life with them promptly jumps onto "Wikipedia."

72 days... I wish her career only lasted that long
She has a career ?!! All this time I thought she was just a parasite on society similar to Paris Hilton.

I have a hard time believing that. It wouldn't take long for his lawyers to google her bio, and review key details with their client.
Even though it is a much bigger financial commitment, I don't think anyone ever researches their future wife as much as they do a house that they are about to purchase.

You'd be surprise. My brother had a potential girlfriend Google him and found out what he said was actually true. Welcome to the 21st century. They were couple for about 3 years.
