Yeah..those soft serve places are all the same....just adding flavour to a cold concoction.

And gelato...Meh!!...No flavour.

I like the places with good flavours in HARD ice cream. Baskins too expensive. Dairy Queen is the same ol soft serve!!

For the biggest best cone you will EVER buy...GUARANTEED....at a GREAT price slide up to ERIN ONTARIO, north of Georgetown. As you drive north there is an ice cream shop on the left side!! You will never believe HOW MUCH they give you...for a GREAT price!!!

Oh and how can I forget. There's a pesky ice cream truck that drives by our office, and although I do my best to resist that draw of its music, I do indulge the odd time when it's hot and am in need of an afternoon sugar break.

Well, there's tasty gelato too, but I like gelato if it's light too (like the limone).

I bet you do get a large serving. Kawartha gives great servings too.

a whole store? Oh Snap!

I saw Kawartha dairy tubs of ice cream for sale in the bakery in Bala but they didn't carry many flavours.
If there's a store that carries more I may just have to figure out a way to transport some home next time I go up there lol.

Jennifer. Check out Junction Ice Cream on Dundas just west of High Park Avenue. They sell Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream (probably 2 dozen flavours). A little bit of cottage country in the city.

Also there are whole host of stores that carry Kawartha Dairy by the tub...

i'm pretty sure its not Gelato.

this was definitely genuine ice cream. very very genuine.

Has anyone ever seen GRAPE flavor ice cream or ORANGE flavor ice cream in an ice cream shoppe in Toronto?

there used to be an ice cream shoppe on the westway just down of lawrence all the way to Martingrove. it was a plaza called the westway. He used to serve grape flavored ice cream, along with orange flavor and a variety of others. Was amazing. i always spent an hour to get there. had at least three cones every time. When he shut down, couldn't find grape flavored ice cream anywhere. I think he even had cotton candy and some other crazy flavors...

if anyone knows an ice cream shoppe that serves GRAPE flavor ice cream, please let me know. Thanks.

I don't know if it is the best, but Sicilian Ice Cream on College (at Montrose?) is excellent... and their Spumoni (my favorite) is simply delicious!
