After seven years of marriage, it's over for Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony.

"We have decided to end our marriage," they tell PEOPLE exclusively in a joint statement. "This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters."

"It is a painful time for all involved," the statement continues, "and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time."

Lopez, 41, and Anthony, 42, wed in June 2004 in a casual – and secret – ceremony at Lopez's Beverly Hills home.

They have two children, 3-year-old twins Max and Emme.

I'm so glad to hear it was "amicable on all matters"

It's good when I read about how hollywood cebrities can always manage to keep things civil when they divorce. So much so that you wonder why they are even getting divorced.

I always wondered how one of the ugliest fucking guys in the world was able to hook up with J. Lo. I'm not surprised about the split based on her status after American Idol. ---- Maybe she'll hook up with Steven Tyler!

I'd say J LO hooks up with one of the following:

(1) Mark Sanchez, QB of the J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets! (close to where she grew up plus he's latino).

(2) P. Diddy, something tells me she never got over him and didn't marry him because of her parents sentiments.

(3) Dwayne Wade, he's the King of Miami right now plus she's secure enough now to marry a guy who's black despite what her parents may say.

(4) PITBULL, latino rapper and bad-boy

... she's definitely going young and she has needs... hot latina at her sexual peak physiologically speaking!

Funny, I don't consider Lopez to be all that attractive.

She's ok and all, but in the end, she's a 7 in my eyes. Short, built like a fire hydrant, not that smart.

But when the lights come one, the makeup comes off...and like all of us..she lets her guard down....you still gotta deal with that big arse.

Good for Marc Anthony!

Heard JLo was a real royal pain-in-the-ass-diva.
She apparently had to take the American Idol gig, because she was broke.
(she hasn't had a hit song or movie for years)

Maybe it's the way she's done up but I checked her out on AI and thought, "Man she's gorgeous".
