Think we need some candidates that would be willing to fill in the shoes for Sheik and his organizing responsibilties. We should have an election for these people. LOL If nobody wants to do it, an impending summer party may not happen. 
There was an unofficial TERB party done on very short notice that took place on St.Paddy's Day at Filmores. I stopped by briefly and didn't really give it a chance, so I don't know if the party was any good or not? I really should have stayed longer instead of the whole 2 minutes I was there.

That was the hard part, the rest will fall into place. I nominate Spacewalker to set a date and place, then we just show up.

Years ago a party was just a party. No prizes. The prize was to spend time with other members you enjoyed. Some were small and had 40-60 members, and some were well over 100 members. The owner or manager of the club usually set aside an area for the party. Examples: HOL gave us the area beside the stage, Treasures gave us the area in the upper level to the right when you got to the top of the stairs, The Brass had us downstiars and moved us upstairs when we passed 35 people or so...
Sheik didn't organize those. Others made contact. Anyone can do it. It is simply a matter of making it happen. So designate someone to pick up the phone and call.
I think that's a better way to do it, the point of a party is to socialize. Do you feel offering women as prizes is a bit demeaning? I can understand if some felt that way.

The party is on! I will definitely be there and I hope lots of other people join me. A special chair will be reserved for Rockslinger!
This party will be a good opportunity for some amazing independents to get noticed. I'm not asking anyone to donate prizes, just come out and have a fun evening with a few drinks and awesome stripper entertainment.

Brill, I'm glad you have taken on the responsibility of organizing this party. Anyway, do you think you can move it up a month earlier to Thursday June 16? I feel you may lose momentum if you plan too far ahead. Since apparently no prizes are involved in this party, you probably won't need more than 2 weeks to actually get the word out for people to show up at Club Paradise.
TERB members should vote either for a June or July date? I'm definitely suggesting June to kick-off an earlier summer party! :thumb:

How did your date go with Katrusia? Why don't you bring her to Club Paradise and tell her to wear a grass skirt and leave the dangerous weapons at home? LOL
Went to see her on Saturday, but she was tied up with some other guy/guys from my arrival (around 10) until I left just after 12. The waitress did say that she works often, so I will try this week. I think I will call during the week to see if she is in, might be less busy.
If that does not work, how can I approach her if she is with some others for a while? send the waitress?
Do you think she would be welcome back or would want to go back? The case is probably still before the courts (justice moves quick), and it might be a bad idea to go back.
I do not see it as demeaning at all. I simply think that people forget the days when they were not "required" and wherever we chose to go was packed pretty tight anyway.
As for a party organizer... Not in this lifetime. Then I would have to actually commit to attending one. I much prefer showing up and being able to lave at will.
Can honestly say this isn't an idea I will get behind. Leis yes... Shirts no.
