Agreed, we are probably faced with the worst choices we've ever had, but i support Harper as he's the best of a bad bunch.

Conservatives all the way. The lesser evil in my eyes.

Oh, and here's another tidbit about those fiberal Liberals from my Conservative sources.
The last Liberal candidate in York Region, Tony Genco, found out indirectly that he wasn't endorsed by his beloved Liberal Party. He has officially endorsed Julian Fantino, Conservative MP in York Region. I heard that Genco said that the Liberal Party is not the party he joined 25 years ago.
Even Bevilacqua was disenchanted with his beloved Liberals, and jumpted at the opportunity quit and run to be Mayor of Vaughan.

As if the crap that led to Speaker judging Harper`s government contemptuous of Parliament was beyond his control, or the defeat of his government unavoidable. Makes Harpo too weak to steer the ship of state or too stupid to run a government, or the helpless patsy of cleverer men than he.
And somehow that makes him her choice? One she actually boasts about, rather than admitting it only grudgingly?
At least if she claimed Harpo, finally fed up with opposition obstruction, had forced a showdown so he could put the question to the country she`d be giving him credit for some brains and balls. The Big Bad Mikey and his Gang scenario leaves him none.

The most hated prfessions in the world are Politicians, lawyers and auto mechanics. Most of them are crooks and parasites. All we can do is choose the lesser evils amongst them. The Canadian economy is doing quite well now under Harper, so I'd rather stick with this existing evil if he promise to cancel the Jets deal. Canadians vote with their wallets, Americans vote with religion and nationalism. Just IMHO.

From What I have observed Harpo in nothing more than a mini-me Dubya parroting much of the same conservative crap we listened to down here that essentially took the US down the tubes. Harpo like Dubya appeals to weak of mind folks with no vision. Con vision means: give to the privileged few or top 2%, who will then let goods things 'trickle down' to ever grateful peasants. Guess what? We are still waiting for that 'trickle'! Don't let it happen to you!
Sleazeball Conservatives basically want someone to blindly follow as con leaders herd their sheeple into the river. Just look to the imploding USA for what to expect if you let myopic conservatives run things.....into the toilet.....

Can't blame you for noticing the considerable millions the Cons haven't bothered to collect in gun registrations, they've kinda tried to keep not collecting lawful fees quiet, but do promise not to mention the cost of the registry they're inflating OK?

While I'm not a big fan of party politics I will be voting for Harper. Look at the alternatives. Tax and spend liberals or let's bend the labor groups over NDP's.These guy's have gone ahead and forced a 400 million dollar expense on the taxpayers. Didn't see much in the budget to warrant this.
I would suggest that if you have a decent independent running in your riding to vote for him or even better help canvas for him or donate to him. At lease these guys can vote how they want and aren't tied to the party line. Send a message to these rightous pricks.

I hear ya, but they have not STOLEN my money the way the Chretien government did. That was pure direction of taxpayer funds to Liberals. Sponsorship, HRDC, etc.
I'm not saying it won't happen with the Cons someday, as all parties become corrupt after they are in power too long. They just haven't been the pure thieves the Liberals were and I don't think the Liberals have been in the wilderness long enough to gut themselves of the majority of the thieves.
I have friends in both the Conservative War Room and in the Liberal War Room. The ones in the Conservative camp are working hard, trying to earn everyone's vote. The ones in the Liberal War Room are working hard, trying to hide the fact that Ignatieff's "policy" is very short-lived when he does announce anything.
