Looking for mid priced corporate hotel / motel for business travel across Canada.

It does not have to be the best, just clean and comfortable to send my people across Canada on business
trips. I prefer to have an account with one chain instead of dealing with a bunch of different hotels / motels in each city. Recommendations please. Tell me where not to stay if the place is bad.

ighotels group/IHG hotels. At the low/medium end this is Holiday Inn Express, Holiday Inn. Also have a rewards system, which you can link to Aeroplan if you want.

Are you just in major cities across Canada? Or second-tier and third-tier cities as well. (London Ontario might be considered a second-tier city, with a population just over a quarter million and a good selection of hotels. Guelph might be a third-tier city, with a more limited selection of hotels.)

Some chains will open an account, charge full rate at the time, and reimburse you some fraction of your spend at the end of the year based on your total dollar spend under the rate. Have your HR prime call around to the major chains (W, Holiday Inn, Best Western, HHilton, Quality Inns, etc) and ask about terms and pricing levels (and about what properties they have).

Do they have to be SP friendly?

No, I never shit where I eat. I need reasonable priced hotel/motels in major Canadian cities. Mostly for my employees. The requirements are comfortable and clean.

First tier, amybe second tier like London Ontario.
