Overachieving Leafs or......

Are the leafs overachieving or are they just a lunch bucket, hard workimg type team.
I would much rather have a hard working, nose to the grind stone type team than have a bunch of talented superstars wining about lack of ice time, bonuses or playing opera hockey, me,me,me,me ,me, me, meeeeeee instead of team hockey.
Look at baseball and the yankees. They have always have great teams on paper but they don't always win the world serise.
I'm just saying.

Assuming you mean LEAFS, it is hard to think of a 10th place team as overachieving.

Sorry everyone I was a liittle to fast........LEAFS, and considering how everyone expected them to be last over all and give up yet another 1rst round second or first pick, I think it's great for them to be battling for a playoff spot

Finishing 20 overall is alot better than finishing 29 or 30th and giving up a higher draft pic, besides if they didn' improve from last year leaf haters wouldn't have anything to bitch at.....keep on bitch'en leaf haters.

I was looking at some leafs team stats today. here is they rank out of 30 nhl teams.

goals for: 25th
goals against: 25th
pp%: 25th
pk%: 26th
overall home attendence: 5th , sold out every home game
( chicago , montreal , detroit have larger capicity arenas.)

Hell ya, I hate loosing just like the next guy, the big difference is I will acknowledge the leafs when they improve, when they are heading in the right direction, I won't piss & moan everytime they play bad or things aren't going the teams way. I don't no how old you are HOF but I remember the Ballard days....this is a walk in the park.
