I'M W.A.S.P.
The P is for Protestant which trumps a catholic. As does the White and the Anglo and the Saxon

Actually, about 40% of italians have lighter complexions and blue eyes; my father had fair skin with blue eyes, as does my sister, who is incapable of getting a tan. People here think italians and spanish are all hairy calabrians, but go to both Asturias and catalunya in Spain and anywhere in Northern Italy and you'll quickly be disabused of that notion.I'm surprised at the misconceptions that are in circulation. For instance; WOP is a corruption of WOG, an acronym attributed to Queen Victoria who allegedly referred to some Asian diplomats as WOGs, short for Wise Oriental Gentlemen; The fact that Italians are dark and black-haired; Originally Italians were inhabitants of Northern Italy and were related to Germanic peoples, hence had a tendency to fairness - Southern Italy was a Greek colony (In fact Sicily was called Magna Graecia) and was settled in BC times by Greeks who do tend to to have a darker complexion. The intermingling of racers bred out many of the fairer traits over the past 2500 years. I learned Italians were fair and blonde from a blonde Bolognese lady I once dated. Ahh, those were the days!
Amen to that brother! "There are more things in heaven and earth, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy."People here think Italians and Spanish are all hairy calabrians but go to both Asturias and Catalunya in Spain and anywhere in Northern Italy and you'll quickly be disabused of that notion.
that sucksDid you notice how attractive all the women are?
It's really interesting. It turns out that when we take a group of faces, the average composite is the most attractive. This was done by psychologists, and there is a biological reason for our preferences.
It's more like 34% I bet.Actually, about 40% of italians have lighter complexions and blue eyes; my father had fair skin with blue eyes, as does my sister, who is incapable of getting a tan.
